The following institutions collaborate in the PERMANENS project
Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is a public university based in Barcelona, founded in 1990, aimed to transform education to respond to future challenges and to generate highly competitive research. In a context of major global challenges, UPF has undertaken an imperative commitment as a university institution: to help find solutions for the main challenges facing humanity and the planet, which are set out in the Planetary Wellbeing initiative.
The University of Oslo (UiO) is Norway’s oldest and highest ranked educational and research institution, with 28 000 students and 7000 employees. With its broad range of academic disciplines and internationally recognized research communities, UiO is an important contributor to society. The National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (NSSF), established in 1996, is part of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Division of Mental Health and Addiction at UiO. The Centre's main activity is clinical and epidemiological research, prevention activities, education and dissemination of knowledge.
